Terms and conditions
Effective date: 3 September 2026 · Last updated: 3 September 2026
Salary Ledger provides general estimates and educational information. It is not payroll processing, accounting, tax, legal or employment advice.
1. Acceptance
By using Salary Ledger, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Estimates, not professional advice
Calculations rely on stated assumptions, published rates and the information you enter. Actual payroll may differ because of residency, benefits, exemptions, exchange-rate treatment, employment classification, rounding, bonuses, retroactive changes or employer practice. Verify important decisions with qualified professionals and the relevant authorities.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for input accuracy, lawful use and independent verification. Bulk tools should use internal employee references rather than names or sensitive identifiers. Do not use the service to make unlawful employment decisions.
4. Downloads and templates
Downloaded calculations and templates are provided for convenience. They do not become official payslips, tax filings or payroll records merely because they were generated by Salary Ledger.
5. Permitted use
You may use the calculator for personal and internal business purposes. You may not disrupt the service, circumvent security, scrape it excessively, misrepresent results as government-issued, or resell substantial parts without permission.
6. Intellectual property
The Salary Ledger brand, interface, explanatory content and original materials belong to the service operator or licensors. Laws, public rates and your own data remain subject to their respective rights.
7. Third parties and advertising
The site may contain ads and links to third-party services. Their products, content and privacy practices are their responsibility. Displaying an ad does not constitute endorsement.
8. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend or discontinue features and may update calculation rules. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every legislative change will be reflected immediately.
9. Disclaimer and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” without warranties. The operator is not liable for payroll errors, penalties, employment decisions, lost profits or indirect damages arising from reliance on estimates.
10. Operator and governing law
Salary Ledger is an independently operated digital service based in Lebanon. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Lebanese Republic. Subject to any mandatory rights applicable to users, the courts of Beirut shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.
